Having fun shopping at Target. Katie LOVES sitting in the cart, being able to watch everything and everyone.

One day in February it was so nice we went for a walk. This must've been before we all got sick, cuz Lord knows we weren't leaving the house much then!!

In the driveway, loaded up and ready to go! We didn't go very far that day - just a short stroll through the neighborhood.

Katie with Aunt Debbie and Princess the Puppy. Katie LOVED Princess - Princess would come up to Katie when she was on the floor and give Katie kisses. We went to Mike & Debbie's for fajitas on Debbie's birthday!

OK, Katie continues to be an odd sleeper ... the white sheet is what's known as an "ultimate crib sheet" - it's waterproof on the bottom and has elastic bands that snap around the crib rails, so it sits on top of the normal mattress. When we put Katie to bed, she has to crawl up so her head is against the pads and get her arms tucked not only under HER, but under the ultimate crib sheet.

Whatta goof!

Katie's newest activity: opening cabinets. Yes, our entire kitchen has been rearranged to accommodate the munchkin. It's driving Skip crazy - he says he can't find anything (honestly, some days, I can't, either).

Katie playing with plastic leftover containers ... sometimes she'll get two lids out, put one under each hand, and crawl through the kitchen scooting across with them under her hands the whole time.

"Hmmm ... what's in THIS one?"

Maybe not the best picture (I got a shadow from the lens) but I just really liked Katie's expression.

Katie in her new stroller on a shopping excursion at Fry's with Daddy. Fry's is geek heaven: computers, software, DVDs, CDs, computer parts, appliances, all kinds of stuff with cords and computer chips and parts. Note Katie's favorite "toy" in her hand (her bottle cap). Goof.

Playing with her feeties and with Larry (we named that toy "Larry" because he sort of looks like a lizard, sort of like a hippo ... we're not really sure what he is. So he's just Larry.)
