Skip's mother's day tradition is to take pictures of Katie and have a good one framed for me. Last year was a challenge .... and this year was no different ....

Having some fun, at least at first. Katie is sitting in a rocking chair that belonged to me, when I was little. Daddy set her up in the front yard, since we have a lot of nice green bushes for a backdrop.

Did I mention that our front yard slopes down toward the sidewalk?

This picture just cracks me up. I have a glass frame at work where you slide a picture in the middle of the frame, and you can view pictures from the front and the back. I'm thinking of printing this one and another where she's forward facing and putting them in that frame.

Katie dragging a bib around by sticking the tag in her teeth. She LOVES tags - for her birthday, she got a taggie book and a taggie pillow - books and pillows that just have bunches of tags stuck in 'em. Katie loves em.

Katie getting her clothes changed after taking a drink of Grandpa's water. Yes, from a glass. She just grabbed it and brought it to her mouth - according to her grandparents, she actually did pretty good with it until she got it tipped too far, and then she soaked herself!

Katie's very own remote from Grammy DiAnn. She wasn't too interested in it until we got batteries in it, so the little LED lights up. Kinda scary, though - she pushes the buttons and points at the TV and just waits for something to happen. Yikes.
