Katie and Daddy run
around a rest area in southern Kentucky (I think) on
our way to Tennessee. Katie has no pants on because -
you guessed it - she had puked.
This is what a brand new
aloft hotel room looks like, before Excorcist Katie
spews all over everything. I do have to say the staff
at the Nashville aloft hotel was exceptional.
Katie makes herself at
home in the suitcase.
Katie's first shower!
She wasn't too sure about it but after a while she
thought it was kind of fun.
Mommy, Daddy and Katie
in front of the Grand Ol Opry. And, in a fit of
musical inspiration, we all burst into song.
Mommy chases Katie
through the grounds of the Opry. We didn't see a
show, but did tour the museum which was pretty
interesting, and walked the grounds, which were
beautiful.
This pretty much sums up
Grandma and Grandpa with Katie: one big blur of
motion, trying to keep up with the ever-moving
Katie.
Grandma, Grandpa and
Katie check out the fish in a restaurant in
Nashville.
Yet again - Grandpa in
pursuit of Katie.
Grandpa snaps a pic of
his favorite subject on the Corvette Museum grounds
in Bowling Green.
The National Corvette
Museum in Bowling Green. Katie was not impressed, but
Dad & Skip both left with a serious case of
needing new 'vettes.
Skip thought the signs
outside were pretty funny. We did see someone picking
up his brand new yellow Corvette at the museum that
day.
Grandpa, Katie and
Grandma take a stroll.
On the way back through
Ohio, we stopped at the Longaberger company
headquarters (they make spendy baskets). I'm no
longer an avid purchaser of said baskets, but I do
have to say their headquarters were pretty cool!
Katie eats! In a stop at
a local pizza joint, Donato's, we find that Katie
really likes pizza.
