My mom was insistent that we go get our picture taken as a family at a scenic overlook just beyond Garden of the Gods. Katie did not think it was such a great idea - this was the best picture of the lot on our camera.

Katie meets Samina, a Newfoundland who was walking through the Garden of the Gods with her "human", who happened to be the park ranger. Sammy gave Katie a big kiss (which Katie wasn't too sure about ...)

Katie and Grandma do some coloring. The funny story here is that Grandma drew a kitty ("Meow!" Katie says) and then Katie would say "Bye Bye Kitty" and obliterate the kitty with black crayon.

Da da gets some skiing in - he tried School Marm run at Keystone but it was a bit much yet!

Mama gets some skiing in - no face plants or major spills off of the lifts, so it was a successful trip!
