One of my coworkers recently returned from an extended visit to India, and he brought back this beautiful outfit for Katie.

We're lucky ... Katie hasn't yet learned that these things MOVE when you plug 'em with quarters. We can get by just parkin her butt in there for a little while (taking her out, of course, always a drama).

My parents came to TX in August ... and Katie promptly got sick. Pukin' sick. We thought by Saturday night that she was over it, but no ... she puked ALL OVER Grandpa (he took some of it in the nose). Yes, he and Grandma both got sick upon their return home.

Katie announced to my mother one afternoon that she "was going to take a shower" and promptly undressed in the living room, and marched into the bathroom. Grandma, being Grandma, obliged her and let her take a shower. Whatever!

Grandma and Katie enjoy breakfast at Cafe Brazil before we headed to the airport. I like Katie's "Bono look" with the shades.

Usually to get to and from the park, Katie rides ... but of course, being fiercely independent, decided that SHE would take the wagon back to the house. Dora got a sweet ride!
