Grandma, Grandpa and Katie in Omaha - Grandma and Grandpa watched Katie for the day while Mommy and Daddy went to the Nebraska game. They had a great time at Henry Doorly Zoo!

Grandma and Grandpa bought Katie the hat and the sunglasses - those are giraffes on the glasses. When we first saw Katie after her zoo trip, she walked in and said "I stylin Mommy!"

Skip shows Katie how to golf in front of the house in Holdrege. Skip has pictures of him at about Katie's age, also in front of this house, playing golf ... and the resemblance between Skip and Katie is remarkable.

Every day Katie and Cooky (Angie) had to hang the flag out front.

And every day Katie had to play under the flag!

Here we are at Runza (it's a Nebraska thing), where yes, Katie is eating ketchup with a spoon. I do try to feed her real food, honest.

Ed Schrock did take the combine down a row of corn, and they cut some. Schrocks have invited us out for harvest next year ... could be fun! (Actually, I expect it's more than a little work!)

Go Dusters! Homecoming game, but Grand Island Northwest won, 10-7, over the Holdrege Dusters. Bummer.
